The Calgary Concert Band

The Calgary Concert Band plays an integral role in the music scene of Calgary in Alberta, Canada.

After over one half century of service to the community the Band continues to be focused and viable. We think of
ourselves as Calgary's Community Band. The Band owes its longevity to the dedication of its players and directors
and the high standards demanded by its leadership. The Calgary Concert Band exists to perform and as such is
concerned from a professional perspective as to the type of music played, the musical standard of members, the
venues and the audiences. The desire to perform and to provide a service to the community are important keys to
our success.
